How you can support Help the Blind Foundation's efforts :

1. Scholarships : Support as many visually impaired students as possible by sponsoring their tuition fee and hostel expenses. Day Scholars are supported with their Tuition Fees and Hostellers are supported with Tuition and Hostel Fees (verified College Hostels only).
2. Assistive Devices : Financial support towards procurement of devices such as laptops, desktops, recording devices, Kibo readers, magnifiers etc.
3. General Contribution : Donate any amount of your choosing and we will deploy it across our programs meaningfully. Over above scholarships and assistive devices, these include short and long term training programs, supporting high achieving students in pursuing professional courses, funding support for athletes and musicians to pursue national/international excellence etc.

Transaction Fees : Donations made through this portal are subject to a nominal transaction fee and GST. These charges will get added to your donation while you are presented with the payment options. Kindly refer to the rates as follows for fees associated with various methods of payment : Debit Cards (1.60%), Net Banking (1.85%), UPI (1.60%), Wallets (1.95%), Credit Cards (1.95%). Kindly also note that Wallet transactions are supported to a maximum amount of INR 10,000 per donation.

Sample Calculation : For an INR 100 donation made via Debit Card, the transaction fee would be 1.60% x INR 100 x = INR 1.60, which would be subject to 18% GST = INR 1.60 + INR 1.60 x 18% GST = INR 0.29. Thus, out of the INR 100 you wish to donate, INR 98.11 would flow through to us (= INR 100 - 1.6 - 0.29). As per usual, we will be issuing you a donation receipt for INR 100, and the same will be shared with you on your mailing address, alongside the 80G receipt should you require it. INR 1.60 will flow through to our payments partner, Instamojo, for facilitating the donations process.
