How you can support Help the Blind Foundation's efforts :

1. Scholarships : Support as many visually impaired students towards their UG/PG education. Day Scholars are supported towards their Tuition and Living Expenses (INR 12,000 per student/year) and Hostellers are supported with Tuition and Hostel Expenses (INR 30,000 per student/year).
2. Assistive Devices : Financial support towards procurement of devices such as laptops, desktops, recording devices, Kibo readers, magnifiers, braille slates etc. for the benefit of visually impaired students. These devices are used by students as part of our skill development programs at the school and college level, and deployed in Resource Centers and School/College Campuses where we are sponsoring the education of VI students.
3. Skill Development : Support for visually impaired students benefitting from supplemental skill development training pan-India, both through our structured 2 year on campus training program (EMET) and short-term training programs during and after college.
4. School Intervention : Support for students pursuing their school education in middle and high schools across Tamil Nadu, under our STEP-UP Skill Development (High School) and STEM Supplemental Education (Middle School) Programs.
5. Event : We greatly appreciate your initiative to raise funds through events for VI students to pursue their education and develop their market readiness. Kindly enter the event code/name in the remarks on the next page so we can track and match your contributions.
6. General Contribution : Donate any amount of your choosing and we will deploy it across our programs meaningfully. Over above scholarships and assistive devices, these include short and long term training programs, supporting high achieving students in pursuing professional courses, funding support for athletes and musicians to pursue national/international excellence etc.
